This is an 'Easy Install' system.  

As a master Plumber for many years I know easy when I see it.  With the by-pass valves and drain valve installed in the front of the tanks with threaded unions it can't get any easier!  PLUS, This is made in the USA.

Lead Removal

PIONEER™ is specifically designed at a 0.5-micron nominal filtration level, to remove both particulate and soluble lead from your drinking water. Soluble lead is invisible, odorless, tasteless, and needs to be chemically removed from water. Particulate lead is like a tiny grain of sand that needs to be physically removed from water. The PIONEER™ POE filter is strategically designed to remove BOTH forms of lead contamination from the whole house in a single filter.

This includes a complete system with Pioneer tank and carbon lead filter

PIONEER™ binders form ionic bonds with soluble lead, removing it from water through a chemical reaction. This process creates an electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions, a primary interaction in ionic compounds. The binder, a nonmetal, exchanges electrons with the metal lead, resulting in the formation of ionic bonds in PIONEER™.

The PIONEER™ filter is designed to effectively remove and filter lead particles from water, addressing a common issue caused by corroded lead pipes. Through rigorous testing, the PIONEER™ POE filter has been certified by IAPMO R&T for use at both standard and peak flow rates. This is further evidenced by the Water Quality Platinum Seal and UPC shield.

PFOA/PFOS Removal

As an industry expert, it's important to note that Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), or C8, and Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) are bio-permanent, resistant to direct oxidation, and do not biodegrade in the environment or the human body. Research has shown that these chemicals can potentially cause cancer.

The PIONEER™ system effectively eliminates these chemicals and is conveniently installed at the point where your home, business or restaurant's water supply enters. It meets the NSF/ANSI P473 standard for PFOA/PFOS and is NSF/ANSI 53 certified for reducing lead and cysts.
